Whether you are starting a brand new business or expanding one that’s already in operation, we can help. Trenval Business Development Corporation is a partnership of the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario through which it is funded. Since its inception in 1987, Trenval has invested more than $20 million in small businesses in the region, creating more than 4,000 local jobs through loans, advisory services and the Self-Employment Benefit Program (SEB) in coordination with Employment Ontario.

Many entrepreneurs of all kinds, who do not qualify for bank financing, can be given a helping hand through our services and counseling. As well as trained Information Officers, our office is equipped with a resource library of 500 of the most up-to-date business books. Business researching can be done on-site, at a free computer terminal, or books can be borrowed for a week at a time.
